Hop aboard the state parks minibus for a Sunday drive and see the bays from all different angles! This all-day adventure will begin and end at the Indian River Inlet and will circumnavigate Rehoboth & Indian River Bays, stopping at seven state-owned bayfront properties: Thompson Island Nature Preserve, Angola Neck Preserve, Massey¿s Landing, Okie Preserve, Holts Landing State Park, the Assawoman Canal, and Fresh Pond. The total hiking distance for the whole day will be about 4-5 miles. Pack a picnic lunch and bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. And the end of the tour, if you simply can¿t get enough of the scenery, be sure to continue your adventurous day with a self-guided hike at Burton Island Nature Preserve or a sunset walk over the Indian River Inlet bridge.
