No open-toed shoes; please dress appropriately as participants may encounter wet and dusty areas of the fort.
Join this classroom session to learn how to conduct paranormal investigations using a variety of techniques. After instruction, participate in an actual paranormal investigation of Fort Delaware. Visit areas where paranormal activity has been suspected, along with investigatiors from Delaware Ghost Hunters Inc. At each area we will use EMFs, data recorders, and temperature sensors to search for paranormal activity. Visitors are welcome to bring their owon equipment as long as it is easy to transport.
Program open to ages 16 and older. Participants should arrive 30 minutes prior to boat departure to check in at the Fort Delaware dock, 45 Clinton Street, Delaware City DE 19706. Please dress appropriately for the weather; no open-toed shoes. In the event of EXTREME inclement weather which make boat travel unsafe, park staff will call registrants with a rain date reschedule.
Wheelchair accessible boat ramp and dock, jitney has wheelchair lift. Some areas of the fort may be more accessible than others.
Fort Delaware State Park is accessible only by ferry, leaving from 45 Clinton Street, Delaware City DE 19706
Note: Some Tours may be available only from the Tour Park on a first-come-first-served basis. Arrival dates earlier than the online-reservation-window may also be available at the Tour Park.
