Minimum of 10 reservations required for the tour to operate.
This trip will be canceled only in the event of weather deemed unsafe for boat travel or if minimum tour number is not reached. Dress appropriately for the weather and walking tour, including comfortable walking shoes. Please do not wear open-toed shoes
Please bring food since there is none available on the island other than drinks for sale.
Travel from Salem NJ to Pea Patch Island for a guided history tour of Fort Delaware, plus time to explore.
Tour time is approximately 80 minutes; time on island is approximately 2 hours.

There is no food concessions on the island other than sodas. Drinking water is available. Picnic lunches are suggested as your stay on the island will be approximately 2 hours.
Tours are availailable Tuesdays June 17 through August 26,2014. Two trips from Salem City per day. One trip at 10 A.M. from Salem, returning at 2:00 P.M. to Salem. Second tour is 12:00 P.M. from Salem, returning to Salem at 4:00 P.M. There is a minimum of 10 passengers per tour for the ferry to operate. Reservations are required.
Wheelchair accessible boat ramp; jitney from boat to fort has wheelchair lift. The first floor of the fort is accessible.
